Torment Cutscenes

First of all, sorry for writing in English. I'm Brazilian, I can read Spanish but I can't write in Spanish. I hope it isn't a problem.
I have just finished translating Baldur's Gate II into Portuguese (this is my website, in case anyone is interested), and now I plan to translate Planescape: Torment. However, Torment has an additional difficulty: there are very important cutscenes (like the ones with The Transcendent One) that have no subtitles, only spoken lines.
So I wonder how you solved this problem. My guess is that I'd have to add a few "DisplayStringHead" commands in the appropriate .bcs files and add some entries in dialog.tlk, but since I've never edited .bcs files, I'm unsure about what to do.
I used NearInfinity to translate BG2, and I'm pretty knowledgeable about the game's file types. If anyone has any tips or information I could use, I'd be grateful.
Oh, and another little thing: does Torment need dialogf.tlk? The Restoration Pack adds one, but I thought it would be useless, since The Nameless One is male, and dialogf.tlk is only useful for female PCs, right?
Gracias,
Faldrath

Editar tambien los bcs es una buena idea, no se nos habia ocurrido a nosotros
Además es muy facil.

Nope, Torment doesnt need a dialogf.tlk cos the main character is always male: Nameless One.
About the cutscenes... i honestly have no idea if we subtitled them or not... : s
GOOD LUCK!!!!!
I refer to those in love, yeah.

About the cutscenes, I really feel they should be translated. The ones with The Transcendent One are very important to the plot. There are a few "flavor" lines without translation as well (like the ones when Annah and Grace first enter Fell's shop), which I'll try to translate as well, if possible. About using WeiDU, well, after 3 years using NearInfinity to translate I'm really really used to it
But if you find out how to subtitle using WeiDU, please let me know. I'll report my progress using NI as well
About dialogf.tlk: that's what I thought as well. What puzzles me is that the Restoration Pack includes a dialogf.tlk - and in English. Why is that?

But I have another little doubt: how does the game know which color to use for item descriptions? Bandages, for instance, have the standard yellow description but also white notes (about their usage). I cannot find anything in the .itm file nor in the string ref to set the colors. Or is the word "NOTE" hardcoded? Or is it something else?

So, cutscenes work. I've just tested the little one when Annah and Morte bicker about Grace joining the party, and everything went smoothly. Now I need to edit the other .bcs files, and make a couple more tests (with the Transcendent One).
The next step would be to add subtitles to NPC banter (those little lines NPCs say to each other, or their comments on different locations, etc.). But I still haven't found out how to do it - I don't even know if it's possible.

Cutscenes definitely work
Would you be interested in these edited cutscenes? All you'd need to do would be to add some entries to dialog.tlk (and maybe edit the string numbers in the cutscenes, if they're different from mine - I'm using the Restoration Pack).

As for the banter, I've sort of given up on them for now. It'd be a bit complicated to write new .bcs's for them, and, during my recent playthrough of the game, I really didn't hear much banter at all. So I don't really know if it'd be worth it... who knows, if I get in some sort of translating frenzy in the future, I might give it another go
